Gaa Agreement

To facilitate the transfer process, VCCS and Liberty offer the following guaranteed authorization agreement. The GAA or Guaranteed Admission Agreement is a document that provides a clear transfer route for students who acquire AA, AS or AA-S degrees from VCCS College or Richard Bland College. Students who follow the GAA and meet all the conditions of the agreement will receive transfer authorization to Mason starting in the fall of 2014. GAA admission is available to students who obtain a first bachelor`s degree. Students with a bachelor`s degree are not eligible for admission according to GAA. The previous agreement between the GAA and the GPA was extended by one year. Semester during which students can be transferred as part of the agreement: the JMU has guaranteed admission agreements to The Colleges of the Virginia Community and Richard Bland College. The objective of these agreements is to facilitate the transfer process to the JMU and to encourage close coordination of the courses, programs and university degrees offered by Virginia Community College and JMU. The AMP will continue to receive a 15% share of GAA`s net commercial revenues under the new agreement to cover the administrative costs of player representation. Students previously enrolled at Liberty and expelled to a VCCS college to obtain a transfer associate diploma are not eligible for participation in the GAA. VCCS students who do not meet the GAA eligibility requirements mentioned above may apply for admission to Liberty, but do not have a guarantee of access under this agreement. Meanwhile, player spending between counties will be covered by a separate charter, which will be negotiated next year.

NOVA has a Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA) program for all our students who graduate from NOVA and meet the college or university agreement requirements.
